NASPO ValuePoint Cloud Solutions Vendor Receives Participating Addendum from The State of Florida
Strategic Communications, a NASPO ValuePoint Cloud contract holder, was awarded a Participating Addendum (PA) from The State of Florida. With this PA, Florida State government, Local government, and educational institutions (K-12 and Higher Ed) possess the capability to seamlessly purchase multiple cloud solutions. “Public agencies within Florida are challenged with modernizing their IT environments to meet citizen demand”, says Blake Kelly, Cloud Sales Manager at Strategic Communications.
Strategic Communications currently possesses PA agreements with 12 other states and have implemented solutions through the state-wide contracts. To elaborate, these solutions include IaaS & PaaS services from AWS, Microsoft, & Google, along with Office 365 migrations, Cisco WebEx, TPx Managed SD-WAN and Collaboration, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and more. According to the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO), the top concerns facing state CIOs are cybersecurity, connectivity, and cloud.
