Strategic Communication’s Sales Kick Off (SKO) for 2024 was nothing short of spectacular, setting the tone for a year of innovation, collaboration, and growth. Over the course of three days, the company’s sales force delved deep into strategic planning, engaged in team-building activities, and celebrated achievements, all made possible by the generous sponsorship of industry leaders. Let’s take a closer look at the highlights of each day.
Day 1: Embracing the Cloud
The SKO kicked off with a cloud-focused agenda, showcasing the company’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. Breakfast was sponsored by Rackspace, setting the stage for a morning filled with insightful sessions and partner-led training. OpSwat sponsored a hearty lunch, providing the energy needed for absorbing the knowledge shared in their informative Lunch & Learn.
The day culminated in a happy hour, courtesy of Scale Capacity, held at Louisville Thoroughbred Society. Followed by a great dinner sponsored by Ingram Micro Cloud, our go-to cloud distribution partner, allowing the cloud team to unwind and reflect on the day’s learnings.
Day 2: Team Unity and Recognition
The entire sales team gathered for Day 2, reinforcing the spirit of unity and collaboration. Legrand sponsored the day’s breakfast, fueling the team for an action-packed day. Panduit & General Cable generously sponsored lunch, creating an environment conducive to shared success.
In the afternoon, AWS took the team outing to a whole new level with a sponsored event at Top Golf. Adding a touch of excitement, student-athletes from the University of Louisville football team joined in, signing posters, and playing rounds of golf with the sales team. The day concluded with a dinner sponsored once again by Ingram Micro, where the annual sales team awards were presented, acknowledging outstanding achievements and dedication.
Day 3: Specialized Tracks
The final day of SKO was strategically divided into two tracks. The cloud team convened at headquarters to review individual business plans, aligning goals with the company’s overarching vision. Meanwhile, the Commercial and Federal AV/IT teams met independently to delve deeper into learning and business planning sessions.
For our final day of the SKO Graybar sponsored breakfast, and TD Synnex sponsored lunch, ensuring that participants remained energized and focused.
