10/3 National Techies Day – Celebrated on October 3rd each year, this day honors innovation and encourages youth to explore careers in technology. You can show support by encouraging your children or other youth you know, sharing work experiences and leading by example. #NationalTechiesDay
10/6 World Smile Day – The smiley face was created by artist Harvey Ball. For 2023, World Smile Day’s theme is “Spreading Joy and Positivity”. Never underestimate the impact that a smile can have on someone.
10/09 Indigenous Peoples Day – Honor our diverse history and the Indigenous people who contribute to shaping this Nation. Federal offices will be closed, however, we will operate normal business hours for office and remote personnel not working at federal facilities.
10/16 National Boss’s Day – Show recognition and appreciation for your boss and the tough role they hold. Also, a day to strengthen your relationship and build a bond with your boss.
10/31 Halloween – The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats. Costumes will be optional for staff on this day. We encourage those partaking in Halloween festivities to share their best costume photos (family, individual, pets) and we’ll share them on our social media. Nathan Neutz – Nathan deserves a shoutout for stepping in to help with cloud billing in the absence of others. I’m sure it’s hard to take over an account when you don’t have all the history but know our customer appreciates his thoroughness. On top of this, he had to set aside his other priorities to put out a fire. He is a team player!
Steven Barousse – Never have I worked with someone who so perfectly embodies what it means to remain stalwart and steadfast; cool and collected, thoughtful and caring, in the face of adversity. You are an inspiration and a role model of the highest degree.
