The EFS File Sync tool allows users to synchronize files in on-premise and cloud environments to AWS environments. EFS File Sync is 5 times faster than traditional Linux file syncing tools. In addition, it has built in security features to help prevent unauthorized access. Lastly, EFS File Sync also provides simple setup and management within the AWS Console.
Amazon RDS for SQL Server
Amazon RDS for SQL Server allows users to scale up to 16 terabytes of storage for Amazon RDS for SQL Server database instances. These instances are usually provisioned IOPS and general purpose SSD storage types. This tool is designed for developers who require the features and capabilities of SQL Server for building a new application in the cloud. Users can move existing applications that utilize SQL Server to Amazon RDS without having to rewrite the application completely. Amazon RDS for SQL Server also comes with a built-in backup and recovery feature and a push button scaling feature for database instances.
Amazon Redshift Cloud Feature
Amazon Redshift allows users to run complex analytic queries against petabytes of structured data. It uses sophisticated query optimization, columnar storage on high-performance local disks, and massively parallel query execution. In addition, Redshift improves query performance by moving read and write queries to the next matching que while the queries continue to run. Amazon Redshift also includes Redshift Spectrum, allowing users to directly run SQL queries against exabytes of unstructured data in Amazon S3. No loading or transformation is required, and you can use open data formats, including Avro, CSV, Grok, ORC, Parquet, etc.
Amazon Sumerian: Designing in The Cloud
Amazon Sumerian allows users to create and run virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 3D applications in the cloud. With Sumerian, users can build highly immersive and interactive scenes that run on popular hardware. For instance, the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and iOS mobile devices (Android ARCore coming soon). Sumerian makes it easy to create all the building blocks needed to build highly immersive and interactive 3D experiences.

Amazon is releasing an entire cloud portfolio of products aimed streamlining video production, video broadcasting, video distribution and video streaming.

- MediaPackage securely delivers streaming content at scale.
- MediaStore provides secure, high performance video storage capabilities.
- MediaLive enables video providers to easily encode high quality live video streams for broadcast TV and multi-screen devices.
- MediaTailor gives video providers the capabilities to run targeted ads to end users while maintaining broadcast quality service in multi-screen video applications.
